RESEARCH SCIENTISTS

CLINICAL SCIENTISTS WORKING IN GENOMICS
are responsible for identifying and diagnosing genetic abnormalities. Genomics experts require a vast knowledge of genetic diseases, their inherited properties and the processes for testing and reporting.
EPIDEMIOLOGISTS
typically work with specific diseases to research, analyze and report indings about the incidence, distribution and control of disease. This can be especially useful to understand when it comes to genetic conditions or illnesses with unknown origin.
GENETIC COUNSELORS
interpret and explain genetic, medical conditions to patients and offer support to their families. They provide treatment options and have a sophisticated background in healthcare, genetic medicine and counseling.
