Being involved in Lumen's Employee Resource Groups has given us a different outlook on the company because they are a way to start the conversation. We think it is important for us as human beings to be self-aware of how our thought processes and actions can affect others either in a positive or negative way. Having the opportunity to meet and speak with others throughout this global company makes us feel like we are not alone in talking about experiences with diversity and inclusion. "

"

We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all persons regardless of race, color, ancestry, citizenship, national origin, religion, creed, veteran status, disability, medical condition, genetic characteristic or information, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family status, pregnancy, or other legally protected status (collectively, "protected statuses"). We do not tolerate unlawful discrimination in any employment decisions, including recruiting, hiring, compensation, promotion, benefits, discipline, termination, job assignments or training.

Lumen is guided by our belief that humanity is at its best when technology advances the way we live and work. Learn more about our purpose to further human progress through technology at jobs.lumen.com.

My dad is a Solutions Architect with Lumen and has been with the company for over a decade. I have always admired him, and I knew that I wanted to follow in his footsteps. After applying for Lumen's College Connect program I began my career in Engineering too. Like my dad, I help Lumen power the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) transforming industries across the globe and changing the world one connection at a time. If you are the next generation choosing a career path we suggest you "follow your passion. Set a goal and work towards it, a lot of people get so concerned with failure that they do not even get started. Be bold and work hard, even if people laugh at you for having that goal; achieve it."
